1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Goslin Original ("Goslin Original", "we", "us", or "our"). This website is operated by Goslin Original (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/654871/07, a company trading in the Republic of South Africa.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to every visit to this site and every order placed through it. By browsing this site, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and our Shipping & Returns Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this site.

These Terms constitute an electronic agreement between you and Goslin Original in terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, and are legally binding in the same way as a signed paper agreement.

2. Definitions

• "Site" means the Goslin Original website and any related mobile or web application.
• "Drop" means a limited, dated release of one or more products, which may sell out and may not be restocked.
• "Order" means a request to purchase one or more products submitted through the Site's checkout.
• "User Content" means photos, reviews, stories, or other material you submit to the Site, including through the Community and Reviews sections.
• "You" means the person browsing the Site, holding an account, or placing an Order.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or be placing an Order under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to use this Site. Products are currently sold to delivery addresses within South Africa only.

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We offer optional two-factor authentication and send email alerts for new or suspicious sign-ins — we encourage you to enable these and to contact us immediately at support@goslinoriginal.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend or terminate an account that provides false information, breaches these Terms, or is used for fraudulent or abusive activity.

4. Products, Drops & Availability

Goslin Original releases products in limited, dated drops. Once a size or piece from a drop sells out, it may not be restocked or repeated. Product photography is as accurate as reasonably possible, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and small variations are normal in garment dyeing, printing, and construction.

Displaying a product on the Site is not an offer to sell that is automatically accepted — it is an invitation for you to place an Order, which we may accept or decline (for example where stock runs out between browsing and checkout, or where a pricing or listing error has occurred).

5. Pricing

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. Delivery is charged at a flat rate and shown separately at checkout, as reflected on the Site at the time of your Order.

We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover a pricing error on an Order that has not yet been dispatched, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel, before charging or shipping anything.

6. Orders & Payment

Placing an Order through checkout is a request to buy, using the payment method you select. Depending on the method chosen, your Order may be a reservation that is only confirmed once payment is received or verified (for example an EFT reservation or a PayFast payment link) — in that case, stock is not guaranteed until payment is confirmed, and busy limited drops may sell out before an unpaid reservation is completed.

We will confirm your Order by email once it is accepted. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an Order at any time before dispatch — for example for suspected fraud, an out-of-stock item, or a pricing error — in which case any payment already received will be refunded in full.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We currently deliver within South Africa only. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are not guaranteed, as they can be affected by courier delays, load-shedding, weather, or other events outside our control. Risk in a product passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Unworn items with tags attached may be returned within 7 days of delivery, as described in full in our Returns & Refunds policy. Sale or final-run pieces from a closed drop may be exchange-only unless faulty. This section does not limit any statutory right you have to a refund, repair, or replacement for defective goods — see Section 15.

9. Reviews & Community Content

If you submit a review, photo, story, or other User Content — including through the Community area — you confirm that it is genuinely yours, honest, and does not infringe anyone else's rights. You grant Goslin Original a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and share that User Content on the Site and on our social media channels, with credit to you where reasonably practical.

We may remove or decline to publish any User Content that is false, incentivised without disclosure, abusive, unlawful, or otherwise breaches Section 10. If you would like previously submitted content removed, contact us at support@goslinoriginal.com.

10. Acceptable Use

When using this Site you agree not to:

• break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data on the Site;
• use automated means (bots, scrapers) to place Orders or extract data without our written permission;
• submit false, defamatory, hateful, or fraudulent content or reviews; or
• interfere with the security, availability, or normal operation of the Site.

We may suspend access, cancel Orders, or take other reasonable action against anyone who breaches this section.

11. Intellectual Property

The Goslin Original name, logo, "Built By Originals" content, product designs, photography, and site content are owned by Goslin Original or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use our branding or designs for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

12. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may link to, or rely on, third-party services (for example payment providers, couriers, or social media platforms). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices — your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is". While we take reasonable care to keep it accurate and available, we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goslin Original will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or a purchase made through it, and our total liability in connection with an Order will not exceed the amount you paid for that Order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from our gross negligence or under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Goslin Original against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or User Content you submit, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or wrongdoing.

15. Your Statutory Rights

If you are a "consumer" as defined in the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the CPA — including your rights regarding the quality and safety of goods, and your right to return defective goods. Where these Terms conflict with a right you hold under the CPA or other South African consumer legislation, the law prevails.

16. Privacy

We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Please read our Privacy Policy to understand what we collect, why, and the choices available to you.

17. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, load-shedding, extreme weather, strikes, or other circumstances of a similar nature.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to any right you have to refer a consumer complaint to the National Consumer Commission or another applicable ombud or regulator.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as the Site or our policies change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms; if changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
